Our Large size Full Strap, Half Strap and Butterfly hinges for an Inside/Outside mounting application. Photo of hinges on our shoppe made Wedding Chest demonstrates mounting application. Half of the hinge is mounted and shows on the outside and the other half mounts underneath the lid and is inside. Mounted hinges in photos provided are long mount Half Strap Hinges.
Long and short mount Half Strap Hinges can be identified and ordered. The hinge leaf that mounts to the outside identifies the hinge.
Long Mount is the long strap that mounts on the back outside. Short mount is the shorter butterfly leaf that mounts on the back outside. Forged head nails and slotted brass screws are provided with these hinges. Hinges are sold in sets of two. All of our Hardware is made to order.
